Bringing The Neck Into Balance
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This workshop highlights how to approach the neck in a comprehensive, safe, effective manner and with ease for both practitioner and client. Through a combination of anatomy slideshows, guided palpation and visual assessments, you will gain more understanding of what structures are under your hands and how to work with them with efficiency and clarity of intent. You will learn both active and passive myofascial techniques that aim to bring length, even tone, and ease to the neck and head. In addition to providing relief from common tension/pain patterns, this neck work encourages and maintains the balance of soft tissues which is integrative, calming, centering and promotes a systemic parasympathetic response. As such, it can be incorporated into nearly every treatment session and be immediately applicable to your practice and style of work.
