SOFT TISSUE APPROACHES FOR THE SHOULDER AND NECK
WITH KATE PECK

Want to be more effective in treating your athlete’s soft tissue injuries of the neck? Do you know how to improve cervical vertebral joint motion? Each vertebrae should be able to laterally glide and rotate for optimal overall neck motion. Learn a gentle and safe technique to assess and improve this vertebral motion. There are no high velocity thrusts, just safe & gentle techniques.

Do you know how to release the subscapularis?  This important muscle often gets overlooked and no rehabilitation of a shoulder injury is complete without treating the subscapularis.

Kate Peck is a massage therapist and certified athletic trainer. She has studied therapeutic massage, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy and craniosacral therapy for 15 years. She is bringing all of her experience and expertise together to teach Soft Tissue Approaches For the Shoulder and Neck.

In Soft Tissue Approaches For the Shoulder and Neck you will learn:

• the anatomy of the shoulder & neck.
• how to palpate & assess the muscles of the rotator cuff & scapular stabilizers of the shoulder.
• how to palpate & assess the posterior & lateral neck muscles including upper trapezius, levator scapulae, scalenes, sternocleidomastoid & the suboccipitals.
