Yaron Gal Carmel, LCMT, KMI has worked as a bodyworker for over twenty years. Yaron studied with various masters and pioneers in the bodywork field such as Tom Myers, Christoph Summer, Hugh Milne, Judith Aston, Gil Hedley and others.
An educator at heart, Yaron teaches workshops in Anatomy, kinesiology and application of bodywork techniques. He is an active senior faculty member of the Kinesis School for Structural Integration where he teaches workshops in “Anatomy Trains” and advance techniques applications,
Yaron is excited to become an active educator for "The Bodywork Education Project," where he will offer certificate training courses in Thailand Traditional Massage, as well as his own method "Somatologic-Moves" which marries Thailand Yoga Massage and Structural Integration.
His classroom is known for its liveliness and fun, with experiential exercises, hands-on applications, and attention to therapist self-care. Massage and movement therapists alike are inspired and moved by learning experiences with Yaron.
Yaron co-founded The Therapy Center for Mind and Body, in the Boston area, where he maintains a busy private practice.
